TVP and PTP Merger Announcement

TriValley Patriots,
We have some exciting news to announce today. TriValley
Patriots and the Pleasanton TEA Party are merging into a single
powerful organization!
It only made sense! TVP and PTP have been mutually supporting
each other for almost 18 months. Many members belong to both
groups anyway.
Pleasanton TEA Party is world famous as one of the TEA Party
vanguards in the Bay Area. They began with their first Tax Day
TEA Party back in 2009 and followed up with a HUGE 2010 Tax Day
TEA Party and October election rally. Not to mention tons of
other conservative actions.
TriValley Patriots was formed to bring conservative TEA Party
principles onto the streets and into the local neighborhoods.
Our genesis was Obama's San Francisco visit in October 2009
where we helped organize and encourage 2000+ patriots to turn SF
conservative for one night. Since then we have organized and
supported numerous protests and rallies. TVP fought Obamacare to
the bitter end. We've phoned, written, and rallied numerous
times in attempts to pressure our congressman (McNerney) and
many others not to go along with the Obama/Pelosi/Reid
legislative agenda. Along with other conservatives we burned up the phones, pounded the streets and dug deep into our wallets in
the 2010 elections. McNerney barely squeaked by…this time.
But, all of the above was just a prelude to bigger and better
things! TVP does not give up, we learn and adapt.
With this merger, the TriValley area now has an army of
thousands of local conservatives, united and ready for action.
With the 2012 elections coming, the liberals should be worried...very worried.
For TVP members, this merger should not affect the TVP you are
already accustomed. The difference will be an influx of 1000s
of "reinforcements" to help with TVP causes. We will keep the
TVP name and branding. The TVP website is still the place to go
for all things conservative in the TriValley area. We will also
now have control of the PTP website and you will notice a
redirect of traffic to the TVP in the coming weeks. Bridget
Melson (Dr B), president of PTP will still be an active member
of the new TVP, but she is also taking her TEA Party values and
influence to a more state wide level to help turn this sinking
ship of a state around.
Thank you TVP and our sister group PTP for all you have done!
This is only the beginning and we are looking forward to much
excitement and success ahead as TVP and PTP merge to form one
colossus of a TEA Party conservative activist team.
